CotW was launched 15 years ago focused exclusively on leadership development and culture transformation for enterprise, mid-tier and emerging businesses in Australia and across the globe. Clients have included Microsoft, Salesforce, and NTT, where we have delivered innovative and impactful results for leadership teams and business outcomes.
In 2019, we embarked on a three-year research project under the auspices of Deakin University’s Business School in Australia exploring the changing leadership identity and narratives of emerging and senior female leaders in Australia and the USA.
Our Success is Fueled by New Research and Tools through our Epitome Leadership Offerings
Our groundbreaking multi-generational research provides the evidence and data points that underpin Epitome’s women in leadership offerings.
Our findings showed that anxiety, lack of confidence, and the need to fit into largely masculine environments preoccupied many of the study’s participants independent of their positions in their organizations.
This extensive research provided the data and evidence to build an Emerging Female Leadership Program, EMERGE and the Mid-Tier Women in Leadership Program, INVIGORATE.
What is Epitome
The Epitome suite of leadership offerings presents innovative development opportunities for women to develop, flourish and fully embrace their potential at every stage of their career.
Four simple yet profound Leadership Archetypes (Sovereign, Empress, Consort, and Seductress) underpin each of the offerings. These modern archetypes act as the catalyst to a deep understanding of their true Leadership Identity which is at the core of our relationship to power, confidence and self-awareness.
The three Epitome offerings are aimed at women at every stage of their career.
A six-month group program, Emerge, is aimed at those in the early stages of their career.
For women in the middle of their corporate journey, Invigorate, is the group solution run over several months.
A 1:1 coaching engagement, Aware, is targeted to women at the middle or apex of their career.

Epitome Emerge
From our research, emerging leaders want purpose, authenticity and the ability to make a difference and have impact. We listened and have tailored Epitome Emerge to meet these demands not only for the participants but to achieve the organization’s business goals.
Aimed at emerging female leaders, we offer a six-month program to support the organization to retain and develop talented women for the future. The program is focused on unleashing potential, future leadership growth, leadership identity, and the cultivation of innovative and resilient leaders ready for the next step on their career path.
Epitome Invigorate
Mid-tier talent is often overlooked when development opportunities, sandwiched between emerging and senior leadership. Women in the middle of their career represent the bedrock of corporate know-how with deep organizational knowledge, leadership experience, collaborative powers, and the ability to innovate.
The six-month program focuses on invigorating their executive potential to close their confidence gap and embrace the next career step. We focus on developing a deep understanding of leadership identity, exploring the women's relationship to power, leveraging storytelling, and amplifying innovation and risk-taking.
Epitome Aware
We provided coaching limited to a handful of women – our experience has shown that at transformative times for women executives, the space and time to explore and excavate what’s next for them in a safe intimate environment is critical.
For women either in the middle or at the apex of their corporate career, this tailored 1:1 executive coaching is crafted to address the unique requirements of the individual and the organization. The tailored coaching is underpinned by the Epitome framework and will include an exploration of leadership identity, potentiality, and impact.
